breeze through

Yup, it's been a month already since I last posted anything. For lack of anything more interesting, I just wanna recap on a party we had last month at our house. It was a housewarming-slash-going-away party, really. The boy's brother, Sam who was living with us, was moving away to a new job. And since we still haven't had a house party to commemorate us moving there (since July last year..) I thought we should have it just before Sam could leave. It was quite last minute planning but it turned out pretty awesome :) I had to crack it on the decor but somehow I winged it and it was just simple.

{photos taken by the boy on party day}

We were bummed cos some of our friends couldn't make it (one was in Cambodia and another was having transport problems) but it turned out great, all our other friends made it and cheered us up :) Some just surprised us - okay, me - because I just didn't expect them to show up, because I thought they were the forgetful type haha. But they did! And brought with them fried chicken and wine :) At the end of the night, we were feeling pretty special and loved. It was such a good feeling after all that tiring preparations.

I just want to add a few photos, post-party. And just to let you know, the hall (where these are taken) is my favorite place in the house. I am biased because it's also the most decorated and colourful place right now. Yeah I need to work on making the other rooms more appealing.

 We got the 'Motorcycle' clock, those miniature watering cans, and the bird cages from Bangkok :) The elephant aromatheraphy thingy was from Phuket. The sign was found in a interior decor shop in KL. And the Coca Cola machine was a free gift (the boy got it, I forgot from where)

 That classy-looking photoframe with our picture in it was a present from lovely Nicole :) That photo was actually taken by her as well. She gave us a whole bag of goodies from Canada. I think it was our engagement present. So sweet!

 Yep, 4 picture frames on the wall so far. Only four. Hoping to get more up soon.

That's about it for now. I'm currently freaking out about planning our wedding. Can't believe it's happening already. Also I need to start doing paper projects again.

peace(ful) & love(ly)
